A car pulled out in front of me, I T-boned it, the other driver died, I was left in pieces, both physically and emotionally, and will never be the same again. After a week in the hospital, I knew I was not able to deal with life, little alone the accident, on my own. I was in extreme ...pain, overwhelmed with everything, couldn’t think straight, had no car, couldn’t work, knew medical bills would be coming in… Mitch worked through my husband until I was able to deal with things. When I did finally talk with Mitch and Cheryl, they were KIND & COMPASSIONATE. When I cried, they listened, waited patiently, and when I was ready, they continued. I explained that I was afraid the vision of the accident would come back every time I got a bill in the mail, and Mitch working with my husband, already had contacted the helicopter, ambulance, & hospital and had the bills sent directly to Groth Law. Bless you for that! Any bills and correspondence I did get, I just forwarded to them. There was car insurance & medical insurance, but I didn’t have to deal with them. Groth Law did all the work so I could heal without worrying. Even though the bank was told my car was totaled and would be paid out by insurance, they sent me a repossession letter. Mitch took care of that immediately. The first weekend home from the hospital, my insurance for the pain medication wouldn’t go through so I wanted to pay cash, but I couldn’t do that because it was a narcotic. We called and left a message for Mitch and before I was out of bed on Monday, my prescription was ready! Mitch was great at explaining how bills would be paid and what to expect. He kept me informed throughout the whole process and was just a phone call away when I needed him. When I was ready, Mitch explained my rights, pain & suffering, and the law process. I never even thought about anything other than getting my bills paid and car replaced, and he explained that it was his job to keep me informed of my options and because there was insurance, bills would easily be paid. He also explained that I had the right to go after “the at fault party’s” family. When I explained I couldn’t do that, he never mentioned it again. He was never "pushy" towards me even though it meant he could get paid more. He made sure that I didn’t have to worry about my case while he advocated for my best interests. The amount of professionalism, empathy, compassion, assistance, and kindness Mitch and his staff provided will never be forgotten. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
