I was just notified that the debts in my Chapter 7 Bankruptcy have been discharged. Now, I would like to give a review about my experience with my bankruptcy attorney, Attorney Michael Georg. Due to a divorce after 33 years of marriage, I found myself frightened, alone, and drowning in debt. My ex... husband said that he was going to file bankruptcy on the debts we had incurred in our marriage. After making payments towards the debts on my own for about nine months, I finally came to the dreaded realization that I certainly could not continue to pay them alone on my now much limited income. I knew I had no choice but to file a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. My divorce attorney did not do bankruptcies, but she did refer me to an attorney that she knew well. Although I have tremendous respect for my divorce attorney, I just did not feel comfortable with the bankruptcy attorney she referred me to, for a variety of reasons. I did my research, and chose three lawyers to schedule consults with. I kept coming back to Attorney Georg as the first attorney that I wanted to see. I just had this "gut feeling" that he would be the attorney that I would need. At my first consult with Attorney Georg, he certainly did not disappoint me. Although I was afraid, humiliated and vulnerable, Attorney Georg put me at ease right away. He in no way judged me, and he explained the process fully to me, in a way that I could understand. He offered me a very decent fee, with a payment plan that I could afford. I hired him, without even seeing the other two lawyers on my list. On the day of my meeting with the Bankruptcy Trustee, I was extremely nervous, but Attorney Georg was there ahead of me to greet me. He explained to me exactly what would happen at the meeting, and what questions I would probably be asked. Throughout the entire bankruptcy process, Attorney Georg kept me well informed. He always promptly answered my phone calls or e mails to address any questions I had - and I had a lot of questions! I highly recommend Attorney Georg. He is highly professional and knowledgeable. At the same time, he is very understanding and "down to earth". In my opinion, you cannot go wrong in hiring Attorney Georg.

I am so very pleased with this lawyer and his professionalism. He is easy to talk to and didn't make me feel bad for what already is a bad situation. He helped me consolidate my debt into one manageable monthly payment and in just a few short visits I am on my way to a much better stress free life. With job downsizing and outsourcing, I truly needed some serious advice on how I was going to cope with the amount of debt I incurred. I searched the internet and spoke with at least three offices which included Attorney Georg's and then decided to follow up with him. I remembered speaking with one... of the kindest receptionist that asked me for some background information. When I met with Attorney Mike Georg, he listened intently as I explained my terrible debt situation and I could tell, he knew I was way over my head in debt and that I needed some immediate help. He kindly advised and explained in detail how the process works and the fees involved. Once I paid a certain amount, and provided the necessary information, he was able to file my case. He then allowed me to make payment arrangements on the difference, which was at that time, such great help for me. He had advised that everything was set in motion and that I did not have to make future payments to my debtors. He then told me that we will have a court hearing and advised me on what to expect. In the mean time I remember, he had credit counseling classes online set up for me. On that day of the hearing, as anxious as I was, he was there before me and greeted me and assured that things would be ok. I didn't get a chance to tell him this, that he was so right, things went well. Afterwards, I still needed his help since some debtors were still contacting me and he got right on it. As I see him advertised on different websites, I was move to let everyone know about my experience, even though it's condensed. He truly cares about people and I knew he knew if I could of paid my debt, I would of, however, his awesome help and empathy was needed life skills that help me to continue on to succeed and I know he will and has helped others to do the same.

We found Debt Advisors and Michael Georg quite by accident on line. Never having been in this position before we didn't know where to start. I went with my gut and called him. From our first conversation we felt very comfortable with our choice. He proved me right! Filing bankruptcy was not a pl...ace we wanted to go but looking back we should have filed long before spending all of our retirement funds trying to stay on top of our debts.
