My husband and I sought legal advice (before finding Laura Fernandez) from someone who was quite unhelpful and, ultimately, detrimental to our case. We were trying to get legal permanent residency for my husban, and we were in the process of filing for an I 601A. With our previous help we were denied... for reasons that we should not have been. That's when we found Laura Fernandez. On all of the immigration forums that I was a member of, it was always her name that came up, she was always the recommended lawyer. I emailed her and got a response shortly after and we were able to set up a consultation very quickly. After reviewing our case and information Laura informed us that she believed we were unrightfully denied and she helped us file a motion to reconsider. With her help we were able to get the decision turned around and a few months later my husband passed his immigration interview. He is now, happily, a legal resident of the United States, and I fear without Laura's help, we would not be in the same position today.
