First thing Mrs. Devitt said to me was if you stay in contact with me and show that you care I will do everything I can to keep you out of prison. Sure enough she kept her promise. I was a 19 lost African American and after all I heard about public defenders I was sure I was going to jail. My case we...nt from a plea deal of 5 years for armed robbery to 3 years probations within a few weeks. I was only able to say thank you once but if your reading this Mrs. Devitt I want to thank you for everything you did. Your great work really helped me and my family now this year im graduating from college when I could have been locked up. Once again Thank You.
