Christopher Lee Hartley

My son hired Atty Hartley in 2020 to defend him in a case. He would never contact my son as to what was happening. They were to appear in court, and my son would not hear from him until that morning. Atty. Hartley never asked for any character witnesses or letters from my sons bosses, landlords, p...arents etc. to be used to show good character for my son. I sent these letters to the office on my own, and inquired as to whether they were received or not. No one ever responded. My son would call me all the time to tell me he has not heard a thing from him, and court was coming up. My son was told they may be going to trial one morning, but did not know for sure, if they would be going or not, but just be ready. But yet, my son had no clue what defense Atty. Hartley was going to even present on my sons behalf. Needless to say, my son became do distraught and worried as to how his case was being handled, with lack of communication, it resulted in my son passing away. I never received ANY communication from this Atty. when he learned of my sons passing. No condolences, no nothing. He did not refund any fees collected, even tho this case never went to completion. Any inquiries i made were never responded to. I highly recommend staying away from Atty. Hartley, as he will not act in your best interest, if he does not feel it is worth his time. He talks a great game to get you to sign on the dotted line, but once signed, you are left hanging with no support or help. Dont waste your money, there are so many others that will actually fight for their clients, not turn a deaf ear.

He was not prepared for the case. He absolutely did not do the work that was needed for the case. He brags about his expensive suits. He said that the case would be the only one he would work on but he had many other cases and that is why he didn’t do the work in my case. My family paid him $10,000 f...or nothing. To would recommend that you get a free public defender in your case they would do much better. He do not answer phone calls or text messages. Most of the work that should’ve been done in the case was done by me. I should’ve paid myself with all that I found to help the case. You literally have to call the office to find him and they will always say he’s in a meeting and will call you back which he never do. I remember asking him to look into forensics on the car accident and he would go on to say well that person is not available because he just got out of the hospital from shoulder surgery then fast forward I would ask for another evaluation on the other car in the case and he would say that individual just got out of the hospital because of a shoulder surgery. I mean really??? I ask him for the evaluation of the speed the alleged victims car and he said that year of car didn’t have that advanced technology and after researching it absolutely did have that information and it was later documented in the case. He will NOT go to bat for you in your case. He will NOT do all he can for his clients. Stay away from this lawyer if you want a fair chance and excellent representation.

In 2006 I was facing a maximum of 35 years in prison. After only being in jail for 3 months, I was released on a PR bond, for a 2nd degree felony charge. Long story short, Christopher got me a plee bargain for 2 years probation! Mind you I was facing 35 years in prison!! I give you my word that this ...is the lawyer to hire for any serious charges you may face.

Chris is one of the Best I ever saw in my life Thank God My Mom found him he work with us on paying him he was worth every dollar. This Man is so good at what he do when he open up in the courtroom talking I had to look down and wipe the smile off my face. No I'm not crazy he's just that Good My N...ame is Anthony B Franklin the judge gave me 12years with 6 in and 6 out with bootcamp I was facing 65years I thought I was go get 20 to 25 at first especially with the guard almost getting shot sorry for this tragedy story but Christopher is who I would recommend thank you Christopher my life has changed since I've been home Thank you

Chris did nothing to mount a defense for me in two years. He was recommended and highly regarded as one of the best defense lawyers, he is not. He is a horrible person. Never returned phone calls never kept me up my case. I trusted him to defend me and my trust was smashed when the night before the p...re trial converance he abandon me and told me and the opposite of what he had for two years. I thought my case was in best hands but it was in the worst, most uncaring, egotistical hands. I am in a worse spot than I was.
