William E. Duffin

Over the course of a few months, Duffin promised me to do a task that, honestly, didn't require more than a couple hours of work. He became busy with other work, and kept putting mine off. Then, finally, as he became overwhelmed with other work, he simply dropped mine. Had he said he wasn't intereste...d in the beginning, I could have gotten another lawyer. It was an extremely time-sensitive matter. My conclusion: he cares about some of his clients, maybe, and others don't merit even the time of day. On a previous matter, he simply forgot to do something else that he indicated to me he had done. For months, I was exposed to a contempt of court violation without my knowledge. And, had I not given up on Duffin and gotten another lawyer, I could have ended up in prison.
