Scott Burns did an excellent job in working with a mortgage lender to convince them to accept a deed return in lieu of foreclosure for a home that had become worth substantially less than what was owed on the original mortgage. He was effective in communicating with attorneys representing the mortga...ge holder. He was very helpful in putting together the paperwork needed by the bank to review the possibility of accepting the deed without foreclosing on the property and he also made sure that my spouse, who was not a party to the deed, was protected from liability. Scott was very easy to communicate with and prompt in responding to any questions or concerns that we had. I recommend him highly and without reservation for matters concerning real estate.
