Marcella Spoto

Attorney Spoto has devoted her legal career to representing parties in complex litigation.  The breadth of her experience has included cases involving personal injury, product liability, medical malpractice, professional liability, wrongful death, automobile/trucking negligence, nursing home abuse and neglect, premises liability, mass property damage, environmental/toxic tort, coverage and class actions. 

Ms. Spoto’s diverse experience includes numerous state and federal trials, both to courts and juries, state and multi‐district class actions, and appellate practice.  Ms. Spoto has routinely taken on the role of lead counsel for trial matters.

Ms. Spoto earned her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin, where she was participated in handling employment and administrative trials, competitive mock trial, the International Law Journal, and State and Federal Judicial internships. She received a B.B.A., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin in Whitewater, where she double majored in International Business and French, and double minored in German and Economics. She is fluent in French, Italian, German and Spanish. She has traveled and studied abroad extensively in Europe, and outside of Paris at a Graduate Management University.

Ms. Spoto is admitted to practice in Wisconsin, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin, and the Trial Bar for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She has been admitted Pro Hac Vice to practice in other states around the country.

Ms. Spoto volunteers for UNICO’s Milwaukee Chapter. UNICO is the largest Italian‐American service organization in the United States, which raises scholarship funds for higher education for Wisconsin students. She is also an active public education, sports, and Girl Scout volunteer in Milwaukee County.
