I knew and counted Chris as a friend long before he helped my with legal matters. When I did have two subsequent legal matters come up, Chris was my first call and will be my first call in the future. In the first matter I needed help in a hurry and Chris went out of his way to draft the document... I needed right away to settle a transaction and protect myself legally. He clearly explained the potential pitfalls if I did not have the appropriate legal documents and no doubt saved me from potential headaches down the road. It was no coincidence that when my second legal matter arose, Chris was there to help. He clearly explained the situation and the steps needed to remedy the situation. I have zero hesitation recommending Chris Hale as he is an excellent attorney. While I hope I do not have any more legal matters requiring representation, I take comfort in knowing that Chris will be there for me.

Chris Hale is a great lawyer. I asked Chris to represent me in a business matter that was rapidly going south. My partner and our client were at odds and it appeared that we were going to be sued and that we in turn would sue. I asked Chris to take a look and give me the lay of the land, so to spe...ak. After familiarizing himself with the facts, Chris was able to convince both parties to back off their positions and rethink things. In a nutshell, Chris was able to communicate to both parties that, to some degree, both were at fault and the nature of our initial agreement was too vague to indicate absolute certainty of outcome. Ultimately, his advice was to forgo legal action and negotiate a reasonable settlement agreement that would require some compromise by both parties. In the end, because of the way Chris approached this and was able to keep two very big egos in check, we were able to come to an agreement. Chris saved our firm the expense of a drawn out litigation action and perhaps more importantly, saved my relationship with the client. The client was so impressed with Chris and as a result was impressed with me for getting Chris involved. That same client now serves on the board of a company I founded some 6 years after this event. Chris could have taken this thing in a whole different direction that frankly, probably would have been far more profitable for him personally. Now, whenever I need representation, I run it by Chris to see what he thinks I should do or who he thinks would be a good person to handle the affair. I would recommend him to everyone and anyone.
