I went to have an estate plan built with a firm I was told I could trust. Initially, I thought I was receiving a great product. I am not a lawyer so I don't know what I'm looking at. When the time came to make updates, this is where everything started to unravel. My simple changes and requests, w...ere not implemented properly, and some not at all. When I was informed changes were made, I was emailed a draft to review, without anyone describing what or where I should be looking for said changes. Some of my core changes were not made at all. At signing, more revisions needed to be made. Once those revisions were performed, they were incorrect! Incorrect addresses, infinite loops in language, and more. I uncovered this disaster of an estate plan after consulting with another firm due to the rude communication with the paralegal, lack of care of my needs, and initially noticing lack of attention to detail in spelling and labelling inside the document. I just did not trust it any longer. In closing, this estate plan package was incomplete, not thorough, completed with unprofessional communication, and left my estate open for many issues if I were to die should this not have been caught. To top it off, I was charged an exorbitant amount for the adjustments I needed. Stay away.
