Highly Adversarial Approach With Lasting Family Impact

I would strongly caution others before retaining Jenelle Glasbrenner based on my experience during my divorce proceedings. What began as a relatively manageable and cooperative divorce became extremely adversarial, prolonged, emotionally exhausting, and financially destructive. In my opinion, near...ly every disagreement was escalated rather than resolved, communication between the parties deteriorated significantly throughout the process, and the overall litigation strategy created unnecessary hostility and division. The long-term impact on our family dynamic has been severe. Prior to the litigation becoming highly adversarial, my ex-wife and I were still able to communicate directly and work through many parenting issues together. Today, we communicate almost exclusively through court-monitored applications, do not truly co-parent in a healthy or collaborative way, and the relationship between our households has been permanently damaged. In my opinion, that environment has not been in the best interests of the children involved. The case lasted approximately 18 months and resulted in substantial legal fees, emotional strain, and ongoing tension that continues well beyond the finalization of the divorce. I left the process believing that conflict was consistently amplified instead of reduced. I also developed serious concerns regarding professionalism, conduct, and the handling of certain aspects of the litigation. Due to the seriousness of some of the concerns that arose during the process, I have pursued formal channels to review certain matters. Because those processes are ongoing, I will avoid discussing additional details publicly at this time. If your goal is a family-focused, solution-oriented approach that minimizes unnecessary conflict and prioritizes long-term co-parenting stability, this was not my experience. I would strongly encourage individuals considering representation in a family law matter to carefully research all available options before proceeding.
