Biography
Attorney Therese M. Henke's practice is exclusively family law, with an emphasis in divorce cases: both traditional (litigation) and collaborative (both parties hire lawyers but avoid court). She also practices private and court ordered facilitative mediation and evaluative mediation in legal custody and physical placement disputes. Over the last 29 years as a court appointed mediator in Ozaukee County, she has mediated over 872 cases. She also accepts guardian ad litem appointments in pending and post-judgment family law cases; she will conduct a thorough investigation and make a recommendation as to what she believes is in the child's/children's best interest. She is also a Supplemental Court Commissioner conducting supplemental hearings. She is also the Mediation Coordinator in Washington County managing the Family Court Services mediation program.
