We were very pleased with Brett Eckstein's work. Without Brett, we would not have been able to settle our case for the amount we received. He is organized, thorough and responsive. Whenever we would email or call Brett, we would get a reply within a few hours or less. He seldom kept us waiting for an...swers. He knew the details of our case front to back -- that's what impressed us the most. He is frank and doesn't only tell the client what the client wants to hear. He helped us see the reality of our case, explained our legitimate chances at trial and spelled out very specifically the dollar amounts we were looking at. Once we got to know Brett better, we felt very comfortable with him and truly felt he was looking out for our best interests. There were only a couple "negatives" in our experience. It takes a little time to warm up to Brett. On first meeting him, he can appear almost too professional, that is, not as warm and friendly as he actually is. Once you get to know him though, the walls break down and you feel like he's your next-door neighbor. The other "negative" was that we did not learn the maximum potential value of our case (based on our insurance coverage and that of the defendant) until fairly late in the process. It would have been helpful to know that amount from the get-go. I'm not sure if Brett thought we already knew, thought he had already told us, or if it just slipped his mind. Overall, we were happy with our experience and we would recommend Brett enthusiastically to other potential clients.
