Shanon Erik Zisman

I completed my law degree from Vermont Law School and hold an undergraduate degree in Business Management.

I have participated in numerous grassroots campaigns to benefit underrepresented communities domestically and internationally, engaging with people of various socio-economic backgrounds. My own experience growing up in a low-income family serves as ongoing motivation to advocate for clients in need of financial advocacy and planning.

I am a member of the Iowa Bar Association and admitted to practice in the following courts:

Iowa District Courts
Federal District Court for the Southern District of Iowa
Federal Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District Court of Iowa

My Approach
My approach to law is different than many. I always put my client first, and I do my best to keep us out of the courtroom because I know that’s where things get expensive quickly. I believe you should have access to legal counsel without having to fear you can’t afford it.
