I ended up getting an owi which was my first time ever getting in trouble other then a speeding ticket because I was convinced to take a plea agreement because marshall told me I didn't have a fighting chance yet I was walking down the street when the officer stopped me and the officer never seen me ...in the vehicle and there was nothing that stated what my blood alcohol content was because the data master wasn't working . Marshall told me because I didn't have someone to testify that I wasn't drinking before I drove and that I went to the bar after going in the ditch on a night that was -4° out with 17 inches of snow on the ground that I didn't have a fighting chance and then after some research and a clearer mind from all the stress I knew I shouldn't have taken that plea and that I didn't need anyone to testify that I wasn't drinking before I went in the ditch and when I told him I wanted to take back my guilty plea because I did have a fighting Chance he told me I couldn't until I talk to another lawyer who told me I could request to try to take back my plea but by then some time had passed and the judge denied my request to take it back so in my experience he's not a very good public defender on an owi first offense case
