Biography
I was born in Clinton, Iowa, but I've lived in Iowa City for the majority of my childhood. I graduated from the University of Iowa with distinction in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Pre-Law Certificate. While at Iowa, I was a member of the Honors Program, was on the Dean’s List all semesters and served as Community Service Chair in my sorority. In 2012, I received my Juris Doctorate with high honors from the Drake University Law School where I was a student attorney at the Drake Legal Clinic, an intern for the Honorable Anita L. Shodeen at United States Bankruptcy Court in the Southern District of Iowa, a research assistant to the former Dean of Drake University Law School, David S. Walker, and was awarded the CALI Award for the Highest Grade in Insurance Law. Upon graduation from law school, I was elected to membership in the Order of the Coif. I joined O'Connor & Thomas Law Firm in August, 2012 and I am licensed in Iowa and Illinois. In 2018, I became a Partner at O'Connor & Thomas. My general practice includes, but is not limited to, collection law, business law, appellate practice, guardianships and real estate.

Terrible lawyer, very misleading
We restained Mrs. McKenzie to help us with a eviction matter. She lied, did not file the complaint as promised and lied again. Stay away. Didn’t even care when I was firing her. Could care less. No ethics.
