This case deals with the Uniform Interstate Family Support Act, and the jurisdiction of a court to modify and enforce orders of child support. In this instance, both parents and the child had moved fro ... m Virginia since the last order of child support. The mother returned to Virginia to modify the child support order because Virginia had issued the order. The Virginia court would have had jurisdiction to enforce the order even though the parties had moved from the state, but Virginia could not modify the order.
