Don't ask too many questions! Unprofessional

I went to Jake Peters for help with my workers compensation case, and he seemed nice at first (when you're thinking of hiring) but after I hired him he didn't keep in touch with me about my case and didn't call set up meetings after about 2 months I called to set up a meeting. When we set up a meeti...ng, it lasted maybe 3 minutes. I asked questions such as how the pricing would be distributed and what we could do if it was denied and other basic questions. He couldn't answer basic questions about my case then he said "Look maybe it's not worth it anymore, you should try looking for another attorney" I went to him for help and left me in a hole with my workers compensation case. Seems like a nice guy but not a good attorney to go to if you really need help! I would not recommend if you have basic questions about your case as I did.

I've never responded to a review so this is a first for me. I just want everyone to understand that this is an Iowa workers' compensation case I investigated and turned down. He didn't have a case and I told him so and gave him back his file and charged him nothing. Apparently that made him mad and he left this nasty note for the world to see. I'm too honest perhaps. If I can't win your case ( which is what every client expects ) or get you the outcome that you think you deserve, I'm going to look you in the eye and tell you so. That's what I did here. No regrets. Jake
