My friend had Nick help with a real estate transaction between me, my attorney and my friend, things seemed to be going good at first…. But by the end when my friend informed me that he had dropped a check off to Nick to send to me, I find myself a week later still waiting on a check that’s less than... an hours drive away… the next Monday I requested my attorney contact Nick, he did and Nick told him he’d get it in mail…. Fast forward 5 days… now we’re at 2 weeks since check was initially written and still I have not seen the check for this sale… but my USPS Informed Delivery service just informed me that check may arrive today or after 4th of July holiday… the check is coming regular mail… you’d think an attorney sending a large check or documents would send it priority with tracking…. I estimate his delays have cost me at least couple hundred dollars in lost revenue from rental and gained interest on debts being paid off with the sale of this property…
