You're Fired

If I could leave a negative review, I would. And it would be huge. The biggest. Believe me. In my opinion, Eric Manning spends more time listening to himself than listening to his clients. He walks around acting like some high-powered criminal defense attorney, tremendous credentials, the best in th...e business, they say, but from my experience, it’s all fake news. Fake news, folks. The fakest. I’ve seen better lawyering from a guy who lost a case to a pigeon in Mexico. Pathetic. Instead of asking questions that help your case, he seemed to ask questions that worked against me. Classic. When he speaks to you, expect to be talked down to like you’re some third-rate country that doesn’t pay its bills, rather than treated like someone he’s supposed to be defending. Very disrespectful. Not classy. Honestly, I think he’s a better Dungeon Master on the weekends than he is a public defender in the courtroom. Rolls dice better than he rolls out legal strategy. Tremendous at make-believe. Not so tremendous when it counts. This is just my personal opinion based on my experience, but I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone looking for legal representation. Not even the people in those other countries that keep sending us their worst. Total disaster.

Awesome

For not ever taking on any to very little CINA cases he did an awesome job with winning the case. You have to have a little patience with him as he gets busy with so many of his other cases because he is that good but all in all I would recommend him to anyone and actually just recommend him to my br...other and we live at least an hour to 2 hours away. Worth the distance for sure.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
