I would NOT recommend this attorney. Brent and his staff missed critical deadlines which caused me significant issues later in my custody battle. He overcharged for the minimal work he did as well as provided very poor legal advice. The most frustrating issue, however, was that Brent and his staff... were completely unresponsive. He changed court dates at the last minute without informing me and overall was very unprofessional, never returning my calls or emails even after 5 or 6 attempts. Dealing with Brent was almost as bad as dealing with my ex. There are other attorneys out there in the Des Moines area that I had a very positive experience with and I encourage you to shop around.
