Christopher A Clausen

I called Mr. Clausen for legal advice after finding his listing on the Iowa Bar Association Web site. Even though I am halfway across the state and he knew I wouldn't be able to hire him, he spent over 30 minutes on the phone with me not only answering my legal questions but also giving me emotional... and moral support for a divorce after domestic abuse, and contested custody. Right now the judicial system seems slow and disinterested in our daughter's safety in favor of her father's right to parent. One conversation with Mr. Clausen couldn't fix the judicial system, but he gave me a measure of peace in a sad and frightening time in my life. If I were closer to him I would have hired him in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!
