Eldon Earl Thompson IV

Eldon is a native of Western Iowa. He attended community college in Carroll, Iowa where he began a pursuit in legal studies. As a result, Eldon transferred to Chadron State College where he obtained a baccalaureate degree in Psychology and Legal Studies. Eldon moved to Siouxland to pursue his law degree at the University of South Dakota’s School of Law. Eldon has also earned a master's business degree from Chadron State College, with emphasis in human and financial resources.

Upon Eldon’s graduation from law school in 2011, he was admitted to practice law in Iowa. Eldon is dedicated to helping clients in the Greene County Iowa area, and other central Iowa locations. Eldon is also presently pursuing licensure in both South Dakota and Nebraska.

Eldon practices primarily in the areas of criminal defense, family law, wills, trusts and estate planning. Eldon also provides services in transactional law, contracts, torts and employment litigation.

Eldon has a unique background, having served in the United States Air Force as a Security Policeman. He also has over 15 years of retail management experience prior to practicing law, and has even provided paralegal services prior to licensure in Iowa.

In his free time, Eldon enjoys volunteering for pro bono activities and spending time with his family. He is active in the community and in statewide organizations. Eldon also maintains an active membership in Iowa's voluntary bar association.
