I hired her to do a lady bird deed, should have taken a week at most-Took 6 mos just to get to the point of the deed being written up and signed-because she doesnt communicate, never returned calls. I had to keep calling her, Id wait for a callback during the timeframe she had given me, she never ca...lled back so I would need to call her again. In february 2021 she said everything was done and ready to file-I checked on it yesterday, she never did it. Although, she was paid in full- She claimed she was missing property info(even though she reassured me more than once she had all the info she needed) OK?? SO why not reach out to your client in 5 mos? Had I not checked I would have went on thinking this was done, and it never would have been taken care of.

Working with Caroline during a difficult time in my life (divorce) was the worst mistake I made. She did not communicate clearly, was nonresponsive, and was belittling towards me. I have a professional job myself and was surprised at how unprofessional her behavior was. I do not recommend this att...orney. Also, she had not even heard of the Michigan Divorce book when I mentioned it to her. I had to secure a different attorney two weeks before the court date. Over a month has gone by since she has done any work for me and I am still waiting for the remainder of the retainer fee to be returned.
