Dane Bays reassured us he could negotiate and get a settlement on a default loan that we were being sued on. He took our retainer and answered hastily on our behalf using a form letter. After that he avoided talking to the company, and when asked told us he was stalling. He failed to keep us informed..., and we were never copied on any correspondence. On one of our calls to check the status, he informed us that a default judgment had been filed for the full amount. We could have negotiated on our own behalf for free and resulted in better. We asked him to excuse himself from our case which he took his time doing. We also asked for our retainer back which he refused and is now failing to return our calls.
