Steven Cross, being a true and loyal friend to someone we met in a very trying time, took time out of his schedule, to help clear up a bogus mortgage on our home from 20 years ago, after 6 mos. of dealing with everyone from Charlevoix Clerks Office to the Attorney Generals office, in trying to show ...that this was not a legit mortgage that we had taken out, When we explained that we never applied for nor received the mortgage, that the sig. were forged. etc. By his listening to what we had to say. he finally had it discharged..in less the 2 weeks, I had been fighting for over 6 mos.to get someone to listen to us and believe us. We owe this man such a debt of gratitude, that we can never repay. He did this at his own expense, for a family that he never met, he restored our faith, that there are good and decent people in this world. After what we went thru, we doubted that there were any honest to goodness compassionate people left in this world. THANK YOU, Steven Cross, for everything you did for people you never met.....You are our savior, we have now been able to go on, and do what we had set out to do. Without you, it never would have been possible. We are forever in your debt, and to say we are thankful and grateful seems so trivial...but, Thank You
