I cannot say enough good about Josh and his defense in my administrative separation board. After 16 years of exemplar service, the military was attempting to discharge me with a UOTHC discharge for strictly verbal, non-directive, inappropriate jokes I made in group settings. The Government’s recommen...ded character of discharge was excessive and completely unwarranted given the circumstances. I contacted Josh upon receiving my Letter of Reprimand and Notification of Intent to Discharge. He immediately engaged with my LOR response and then took the reigns of lead counsel for the subsequent discharge board. He thoroughly and zealously interviewed key witnesses and elicited key statements which were previously unattained during the sham “investigation” the Government did. However, Josh’s prowess and ability truly shined during my administrative discharge board. His arguments were logical, thoughtful, and compelling. Ultimately, the result was an honorable discharge, which I consider a huge win, as I can still use my veteran’s benefits and don’t have to live with the stigma of adverse discharges. I hope to never deal with such a terrible set of circumstances. However, if I were to, I would immediately contact Josh. My only regret is that I didn’t contact him sooner. In some of my darkest hours, he was my true advocate. I would refer him in a heartbeat to another Service Member who is on the wrong side of military “justice.”

I am in the Army and had a false positive drug test. With Josh’s help I was able to know what to do to defend myself in the article 15 process and how to go about doing it. Because of the templates and other advice and help Josh have me I was able to win my case and was found not guilty. My battalion... commander told me it was the first time in his 30+ years of service that he has not seen any punishment given for a positive drug test whether guilty or not.
