Full heartedly recommend

Having unlimited options of lawyers in Virginia specializing in UCMJ, I chose Josh who was recommend by a dear friend. He quickly explained to me my options with no filters or false hope. He is very to the point, no “ what if’s” or hypotheticals. He was clear with myself and wife, answered every ques...tion within minutes of emailing and worked diligently to thoroughly prepare for my case. During my trial he remained smooth and steadfast working his craft. In my eyes, the odds were staked against us, but he continued to push through, articulate facts, and remained focused on the end goal, which was justice. The process is grueling, but I felt confident in who I had chosen to represent me. I am grateful for his service, dedication, and continuous effort he put towards my case.

LEGAL CASE

Josh and his team are the best civilian military lawyers I have ever dealt with, quick with solutions and responding to email. I am in Okinawa and they were able to help me with my case quicker than the usual military waiting game. I highly recommend utilizing these lawyers if you have the finance an...d care about your career.

Good outcome!!

Even though I never met Mr. Joshua in person, I have to say that I was very pleased with his professionalism. When I had a question regarding the case, He always answered my emails. My impression is that no matter how complicated or insignificant is the case, He would find a solution. He made feel s...ecure because of his knowledge of military laws. If you or someone you know needs a lawyer in this field, I truly recommend him. THANK YOU MR. JOSHUA!

Saved from an OTH Ad Sep Board

After 22 years in the military, (active duty and then guard) I was informed by my leadership that I had a harassment allegation against me by one person ( a disgruntled subordinate). After 2 CDIs and a year and a half of stress, I was recommended for an Administrative Separation Board with a recommen...ded OTH discharge from the State. I had retained another firm throughout the CDIs but felt as though they were not as effective as they could have been (using emails and formal waiver submissions without an actual conversation with the State's lead council. After every waiver to retire, etc. was denied, I requested the State re-assign an Area Defense Council and after speaking to them, they were going to execute the exact same way. I've seen a lot of lawyer movies and I know that lawyers have to speak to each other if a deal is to be made, I wanted to avoid a board if I could, because an OTH discharge for a guardsman means very likely loss of retirement and VA benefits, but a General Under Honorable Conditions discharge allows the guardsman to collect retirement benefits at age 60 (if they have completed 20 good years prior to the discharge) and collect all VA benefits without restriction. After reading some of Josh's reviews, I scheduled a phone consult and explained this situation. He stated that he would definitely have as many conversations as it took to make the State understand our position. Within 1-week of retaining Josh's law firm, Josh called me and stated that my waiver was approved! This was the first positive outcome that I experienced during the entire 1.5 year process! If you are under investigation, active, reserves or guard you should retain Josh as your civilian council.

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"Josh is a bull dog in the courtroom. He will fight for you until there is no fight left in him. I trust him completely and would not hesitate to recommend him. He is a worthy opponent as well, I don't ever want to see him on the other side of the aisle again."
