He has spoken on numerous occasions for the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association and Michigan State University; appeared on the "Ask the Lawyer" program; given speeches to unions on workers comp and related issues; led "The People's Law School" classes for citizens who wanted to learn more about the law and is the Former Chairman of the Grand Rapids Bar Association's Workers Compensation Section.

I have never seen a lawyer that honest and competent like Michael Podein .
On 11/4/2011,I became unable to bring any income after a freak work related accident.
