Michael Podein graduated with honors from Michigan State University and Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He has spoken on numerous occasions for the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association and Michigan State University; appeared on the "Ask the Lawyer" program; given speeches to unions on workers comp and related issues; led "The People's Law School" classes for citizens who wanted to learn more about the law and is the Former Chairman of the Grand Rapids Bar Association's Workers Compensation Section.

I have never seen a lawyer that honest and competent like Michael Podein .
On 11/4/2011,I became unable to bring any income after a freak work related accident. My work comp coverage that I always paid for through my employer suspended my benefit 7 months after and wanted me to repay a certain amount . I consulted with Michael W. Persistent Podein!
Mr. Podein was always willing to inform me on anything pertaining to my case. He always gave me the break down of every detail, and even drew me a picture once or twice to really make sure I got it ;) I would refer him to anyone struggling to to obtain their rightfully deserves workers compensation.
