Bankruptcy doesn’t mean you’re giving up, it means you’re stopping the suffering. There are many forms of bankruptcy. Again, I am not “proud” to admit that I filed. Nor have I really shared to many of the people closest to me for that simple fact it’s none of any ones’ business, but I felt it necessary to share. I wish I wouldn’t have spent so many years in shame. Anxious and worried if we will have enough money to feed the family, faking that happy face at work, restless and the list goes on. If that hits a cord for any one reading this- do yourself a favor and just call. Some people don’t even qualify. If you do, stop throwing money at the debt you’ll never pay off in your lifetime and save it towards your bankruptcy. I wish I would have stopped the bleeding years ago. And remember, there is a reason bankruptcy is a clause in the United States Constitution!!! I encourage you to call. One last mentionable comment- the amount of respect, empathy and passion these people have for their clients is beyond what you’d imagine! My confidence was restored. I’m no longer faking a smile because inside I’m flooded with stress - I’m living life again how God intended.
