Donna was my second attorney in my years-long divorce and custody battle(s). To this day, I am so incredibly grateful to the friend who recommended Donna to me. Donna is straight-forward in the advice she gives. She'll tell you exactly how it is, and I appreciate that. She is also tireless in her adv...ocacy for you and won't suffer fools lightly. Donna would let my ex spout whatever he had to say, and then calmly cut through the nonsense with a straightforward recitation of the facts and law. She has a calming effect on her clients and isn't afraid to use some dry humor to lighten things up when necessary. The only negative in my mind is that so many of my friends/referrals need a great attorney in Ottawa County, and Donna doesn't practice there. If you need a highly effective, straight-shooting, fierce advocate on your side in a divorce, custody, parenting time, or other family law situation, I cannot recommend Donna highly enough.
