Biography
I am an Attorney, Family Law Mediator and a Registered Nurse. I was born and raised in West Michigan. I graduated from Unity Christian High School, Mercy Central School of Nursing, Grand Valley State and Thomas Cooley Law School.
I practiced as a Critical Care Nurse in local West Michigan Hospitals for many years. I began to look for ways to improve my education and chose Law as my next career. I received a scholarship to attend Thomas Cooley Law School and graduated Cum Laude from Cooley in 1998. During my attendance at law school I received the Raymond Burr Award, the Voelker Award, and an Award for Outstanding Service as an Assistant Editor for the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review.
