Find real representation! Rachel Terpstra was hired for what should have been an open and shut custody case, involving video evidence of neglect and abuse towards my son. She never entered the evidence into the court, failed to examine and question the CPS worker, and had back door conversations w...ith the opposing counsel without my knowledge, until it was brought up in hearing only to have Rachel shake her head in denial (I have the transcripts and it WAS recorded. I should have fired her in the middle of the hearing and sought REAL representation. Now comes the collection attempts as she feels she didn’t breach contract by means of lack of representation. Her collection letters are full of condescending verbiage, ultimately resulting in condescending responses. A formal complaint with the Michigan state BAR to follow.
