Mr. Dopkin was very nice and kind. I have a major problem with my memory and he was very professional, patient, and helpful. He let me know a time estimate and what to expect next. Everything turned out exactly how he told me it would. I wish I would of started with him in the beginning. I have referred people to him and will continue to do so. The lady who worked with him was also very nice and professional.
Matthew was very helpful in helping me fill out the proper forms for Social Security disability. He made the process easy and painless. He guides you every step of the way. He was easy to contact, always returning phone calls quickly, usually within an hour. He took a process I was dreading and made it easy. The process took less than 6 months. As far as I'm concerned Matthew earned every penny.

Disability claim
I was treated with respect at all times and if I had questions or concerns, Mr. Swartz always answered either the same day, or the following day. He was thorough and explained things in a clear manner. I would highly recommend him.

Got a great result in my case
I retained this attorney to help with a car accident. I suffered a whipplash injury. He was able to get me a $37,500 settlement without even me even having to go to court. He even drove an hour out of his way to bring me my settlement check.

Fantastic
I was in a car accident had to have surgery and was unable to work for a long period of time. I spoke to a few attorney's before getting in touch with Matthew. The other attorneys I spoke to didn't want my case or just wanted a large retainer fee up front. I could not get any help from my insurance company's or work. It seemed like no one could or would help me until I spoke to Matthew. Matthew took the time to listen and understand all the issues I was having. He went to work right away for me helping take care of the frustrations. He helped me with the Auto insurance, Health insurance and my disability company. He explained everything so that I could understand what was happening and what I should expect to happen. Matthew stayed in touch letting me know what was happening every step of the way. Matthew took care of every obstacle that was put up by the insurance company's, disability company and their Attorney. I wish I could tell you more about my case so everyone could truly appreciate all the hard work and time Matthew has put in. If he had not taken on my case we probably would have lost our house from the lack of income and the medical bills. Matthew is a true professional and my family and I are very grateful for Matthew and how he handled my case.

Got my son a six figure settlement
My son was injured in a car accident where the other driver just ran a red light. In under a year from start to finish, he got us a $325,000 settlement.

Got me what I deserved!
I was hit by a truck and Matt was great! Action was taken admittedly, he kept me informed in the process it took two years but he was with me every step of the way and I was awarded 22,500! They worked hard and were great.

Not afraid to go to trial.
I retained Matt for an assault charge in 2013. When we met for the first time, the first thing he said was "we are going to have to try this case." The pros didn't offer me a deal and tried to bully us into taking a plea. He already knew we would proly have to go to trial so he told me to take it to trial. I did and we won!

What a joke!
I fail to see how this lawyer has helped anyone! He came to my husband and I highly recommended for my husband's auto accident case, but what a huge disappointment! The first couple weeks were fine, then...NOTHING! He flat out ignored us and any questions we had after that. We both took turns calling his office (conveniently, he's never in), his cell, and I even posed a question to him IN WRITING...no reply! Neither my husband nor I have had contact with this "attorney" in months. I called him two days ago with updates and to ask point blank if he was still on the case or not? STILL no answer! Now, mind you, he writes in his description, 'I am passionate about representing the interests of the accused and injured people across the state of Michigan. I pride myself on open and honset (and frequent) communication with clients...' Really? Really, Matt? Open? Frequent? What a joke! Honest, I don't know about; for that you need to have CONTACT to make such an assessment! My husband was badly injured by another driver, some of it potentially fatal. What interests of his were you passionate about representing? You've done absolutely NOTHING for him! It would have been a lot quicker and easier if you'd just flipped us off! Folks, in my opinion, if you like and want to be ignored, this is your go-to guy. Otherwise, turn and run the other way...screaming!

I am sorry to hear about your experience.
Unfortunately, because your husband was sued by the other driver, who was allegedly injured in the collision, he needed to be represented by the attorney that your insurance company appointed for him.
We wish you the best of luck in the future.
