Only in it for the money.

Absolutely no communication. Signed documents without reviewing with me. Wasted my money on insignificant details needed for my divorce.

Matthew Miller didn’t just represent - he fought

Matthew Miller has changed my life. After a grueling divorce and having my kids taken from me by an abusive party, Matt helped me bring them home — he got me full physical custody and helped us relocate across the state, making it so my children and I were finally able to return where we belonged.... That was more than two years ago and I will never forget what he did for us. More recently, when we discovered during the QDRO filing that my ex had spent the retirement funds he was ordered to split after the divorce, Matt didn’t hesitate. He stepped all the way in and handled business — as usual. He fought for me without charging me a dime for the post-judgment financial work. He had my ex held in contempt of court, had him ordered to pay my legal fees, and secured a spousal support order that gave me exactly what I was owed. He did it flawlessly, too. Matt is confident, sharp, and compassionate. He listens. He genuinely cares. He doesn’t waste time — or his clients’ money. He only calls when absolutely necessary, and when it’s time to fight, he’s a shark. He stays professional and composed, even when the other side doesn’t. Whether you’re dealing with a vindictive ex, financial sabotage, or just need someone who gets results — Matt shows up respectfully and gets the job done. Every single time. He doesn’t just practice law, he dominates it without flinching. I’ll never personally seek out another.

Made my terrible divorce worse

I used Matt for my divorce and I have so many regrets. I honestly have no clue how he has such good reviews. He gave me 0 guidance throughout my divorce process and then he would give me crap when I did stuff on my own. He did not respond to emails. I notified him and his staff of my address ch...ange multiple times and they’re still sending things to my old address. Honestly, idk how I’m even going to get my final divorce papers. I’m probably going to have to drive to a town that I don’t even live in anymore and spend hours at the courthouse. All because updating my address was too difficult for Matt and his staff. When I would ask Matt a question, he frequently would ignore me. He never told me what to expect throughout my divorce, and he never even gave me a rundown at what to expect at our various hearings. He didn’t work for me at all. I wound up giving my ex husband pretty much everything he wanted because he had a great lawyer and Miller acted inconvenienced every time I reached out to him. I would have fired him, but he must know he sucks because he took literally all my money up front so I didn’t really have a choice but to stick with him.

The best lawyer you can get

Im not sure what all these bad reviews are about. Matt is the best lawyer I've ever seen. He fought very hard for me. Matt is worth every penny and more. I would never take a legal matter to anyone else.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

I reached out to this office to schedule a consultation. The assistant schedule it for 2:30pm same day appointment. She explained they only do phone consultations during the pandemic so Matthew would be calling me at my appointment time. I didn't receive a call from Matthew Miller until 3:12 pm. He ...literally rushed me off the phone to attend to his 3:00pm appointment that he was obviously late for as well. I know this because when he hung the phone up in my face without notice, I called right back and his secretary informed me of his appointment that he was late for. Matthew tells me multiple times his rate is $2500 to try the case in trial. I continue to tell him I understand but continue to ask him for his rate to review a case to figure or consider if it is worth going to trial. He tells me he won't give me any advice until he is my lawyer. I say, "isn't this the purpose of a consultation?" I asked him if he had any recommendations. He states that he will not recommend me to another that does what he does and if I don't like the way he does consultations, go to someone who does it the way you like it done! The he hangs the phone up in my face without notice. If I could leave no stars I would! Carlos S.
