I came to know Hal about 15 years ago while dating a questionable man. Being introduced to Hal was honestly one of the best things that has happened to me, in my life. Hal has represented myself, family, our family business, many friends & professionals I have sent to him. Let me tell you the facts of one small case he took on for me. I was working at my family business & had a collector car I adored! (1979 silver anniversary trans-am special edition with a bird decal that not only covered the entire hood but wings that wrapped around the entire car ) A roofing company sprayed paint on it despite my efforts that very day requesting that roofing company inform me if "my car/ my baby" should be moved to avoid even the tiniest of mishaps. I even left for a few hours running errands to try to avoid any situation. No kidding, I stopped back at the business for 30 minutes to grab some more items that needed to be delivered across town. While loading my car throughout that time, I kept watching the location of the men on the roof & within 5 minutes of me leaving, I walk out to see billions of white pebble size speckles all over my beauty! I was ready to puke! I raced my car to a full service car wash upon seeing their screw up. I'm sickened when I jump out after the wash & it's still there. I then bring it to a hand wash figuring nothing can be better than my own detail wash. I cry at the car wash realizing my love can't fix this any more than my current washing was doing. I call a detail shop & it's 15 minutes prior to them closing. I beg & plead for their help & they thankfully had me bring my baby to them. 6 minutes drive away. I'm speeding like I'm taking myself to the E.R. The detail shop works on it for 4 hours after they closed & suggested I leave it overnight for them to observe. Of course, I do! Picking it up the next day, I was informed they did all that was possible & every speck of these pebble shaped paint spatters they removed also removed what was under it. The decal alone had been quoted for replacement at $3,800.00 labor not included. Price obtained due to my being particular about a faded spot the size of a quarter, thinking only that sm. part could be replaced. Nope! All or nothing can ever be done on the decal, for that particular car. The roofing company offered me the cost of one car wash! I called Hal! We went to court- I was a wreck when prior to the hearing the paint company attorney offered $1,800.00 to settle. Hal made me comfortable enough to trust it was worth finishing the fight. The paint company tried to convince the judge to allow them to pay for the blue book price, if I released the car to them. NO WAY! The judge was shown the true collector value of the car, the sentimental value it had to me (my dad purchased it when I was a child & always dangled it over me as motivation for extremely difficult life tasks) I never reached those goals but purchased it from him at full market value in my mid 20's. Hal not only won this case for me, 15 years later I signed the title over to my son. To date, it is still in our family. You want details?
