As a previous commenter said, Run don't walk from this lawyer. I knew I was in trouble when I paid the mediators fee. I asked her what she thought of my ex wife's attorney, she talked about how good of an attorney he is and such a nice man. When I asked about what she thought of Mr. Sewick, she didn...'t comment then changed the subject.

If you retain Scott Sewick, Run Don't Walk as fast as you can. He represented me in my divorce, well lets rephrase that he failed to represent me. I was misled, never kept on top of what was going on until the morning of the court date. I did all the foot work for papers asked for , he never made cop...ies, his response was save a tree. I talked with him a total of twice before the court date, and that was When I called him for an updates . I never got statements of anything on where my retainer was going, and yet to get a copy of my divorce papers. What my X- husband and I agreed on for splitting everything 50/50 including the retirement fund did not happen. It seemed like Mr. Sewick was working for the opposing side. My x-husband and I filed a motion to amend the 50/50 split and will go back to court next week, (no Lawyers). My x-husband asked me after our first court date , when we went out to lunch, why did I sign the papers it was not a fair amount offered. I told him that is what Mr Sewick said was a 50/50 split on the retirement fund , among other false statements.
