Daniel Jason French

My first meeting with him he stated to me blatantly " If you don't fire me through the courts and hire me privately I won't lift a finger for some family court case where I'm only making $150 for a year long case, If I want to keep my children I'llcome up with the $15000 downpayment". Mind you He als...o told me how his daughter was taken away from him and his ex wife because she was a crazy unstable '*****' , and how he won his daughter back. Which completely made me think that he was the only attorney for me. By the second hearing I had already called his office and told his secretary he was fired and I didn't want him on my case because he wouldn't return any calls or emails. At the hearing I had a black robe show up in his stance who told the judge " I'm standing up for Daniel French who Aquitaine himself due to conflict of interest " and it was granted. However for 18 long painful months he never let and stayed so I could NOT enter any evidence, discovery , have any witnesses or even be off MUTE. A judge from Paw Paw told me everything was done illegally and to scream 'INCOMPETENT ATTORNEY ' so the judge would have to listen. That was at a termination hearing. When I did this she finally put us in a breakout room where he immediately cussed me out and called me a 'stupid b****' and I proceeded to tell him he was 1st on my civil suit due to my constitutional rights being broken and no due process. I have all his emails or lack there of. After I told him that in the breakout room it was the first time he ever said anything positive on my behalf or anything at all. He worked with the courts to violate my children's rights ad my own. The next day I got a resignation later from him and another attorney who never would speak to me either until I threatened him with legal proceedings against him. He was just as bad. My rights were terminated while I was hospitalized and my attorneys knew that. My rights were terminated because these people and rights were supposed to have to protect us don't care what's right or wrong just how t fill their pockets. I never had a FTM until month 8 which means by month 6 it should've been thrown out. I never had a case service plan because I had no allegations against me and every plan after the 8 month mark said return children to mother but because of Daniel French my babies are adopted out to a woman whom has had my beautiful sons hospitalized due to blunt force trauma to the stomach ( in ICU) for 3 weeks and they only let me see him once. Foster care said there was nothing they could do they were their best paying customers and I'll never see my baby boys again and there's no 'I can see the when their 18, because God granted they make it to that age! They ruined the lives of all four of my children and that is solely due to poor representation and could've been avoided had Daniel French done his job. Please for your sake spread the word and maybe you'll be spared the lives of your children and self.

I was assigned Mr. Daniel J French through the berrien county public defenders office. Initially, I was worried because of him being a public defender, however, mr.french was outstanding in handling my criminal case! He explained everything to me in a way that was easy to understand. . He was patient... and always kind. He was firm with the judge on all of my pleas and etc. By the grace of God I pray to never have criminal charged again, but if I do, I'm calling french.

Beware of this attorney. He is a liar and his previous employer Armstrong, Betker, Schaeffer and Neal, PLC in St Joseph, Michigan told me that Mr French just took off without any notice and took all of his. Client files and down payments. Attorney Betker told me that Mr. French was having some type ...of mental issues. Nevertheless, Mr. French promised that i would be reimbursed for the Attorney fees that I paid him, which was larger than the amount that I was suing midas for. Instead, he mysteriously leaves Armstrong, Betker, Schaeffer and Neal, PLC and left all of his clients without representation. He will tell you what you want to hear just to get you to hire him. I filed a grievance with the Attorney grievance commission and his response was that he never agreed to me being reimbursed. He also said that it wasn't in writing. Which was true, it wasn't in writing because I trusted him. I never imagined that a lawyer would be so desperate to lie to a person just to get hired. That's probably why he continue to move from firm to firm. To scam clients. Beware of this lawyer, he might have went ba k to Niles, Michigan to find new clients to scam.
