Robert William LaBre

The beginning of my experience with Robert Labre started in May of 2025 with a $6000 retainer upfront. This divorce involved 2 young children and no real estate so complications were minimal. From the start, basic communication was horrible which left me in the dark during most of this process. In... the total of 7 months dealing with this firm I never once got through the first time. It generally took multiple attempts before even a return call was forthcoming. I had many weeks go by without responses to even the simplest of emails with some having never been acknowledged at all. Along with the lack of communication once my divorce was over I was issued a check for the remaining funds that were not used during the divorce. This refund check was given to me on 11/21. On 11/25 the check bounced and I tried to call the office but once again was unable to get through to an employee. In time I received a return call from his secretary who relayed that they were looking into the issue. Eventually Robert did contact me and said a second check would be issued. On 12/4 a new check showed up in the mail. Once again the check was not accepted, this time for lacking a date on the check. Walking out I called Labre law office and once again was unable to reach an employee. Filling in the date myself would have literally been a federal offense so I waited in vain for a return call. By Tuesday my dad took the check to the law office himself and had them date it. The check did eventually clear and this whole ordeal has finally come to an end (At least as far as I can tell.). Over all I was VERY disappointed in the services that were provided. Communication was horrible, I was frequently left in the dark and I most certainly will not use Labre Law in the future.

Attorney Rob LaBre came highly recommended. I found Rob to be straightforward and to the point. He explained my questions patiently and in terms that i understood. He told me what the probable outcome of my case would be and he was right on. I feel that he did a fine job for me and had my best intere...st in mind during my ordeal. I would recommend Rob without hesitation. Being a fellow veteran He and I shared some laughs and some stories. Good man!

I wanted to thank Mr LaBre for all the care and hard work he put into taking care of my fathers estate after he passed. My father passed away unexpectedly and without a will. I am from Indiana and needed a Michigan attorney and he was recommended to me by an Indian Attorney because of his great rep...utation. During a time of loss and emotion he took the burden off and worry of all legal matters. He was prompt, on time and everything moved along just as he said it would.
