I hired Mr.Haas for a remanded custody case that was critical to my child’s and my future. Unfortunately, instead of advocating for me, he appeared to work more closely with the court professionals and ultimately advanced my ex’s position. This attorney failed to respond to me for over a month dur...ing a crucial stage of my case. When he finally contacted me, it was not to support my legal concerns, but to tell me he was arranging compliance for my ex with the Friend of the Court—while ignoring an outstanding order the court was failing to enforce. Despite clear constitutional concerns and the fact that this was a case on remand from the Court of Appeals, my attorney did not protect my rights, failed to properly challenge procedural misconduct, and left critical issues unaddressed. I paid him a significant amount of money, which he refused to return even though he failed to perform the essential work I hired him for. I would caution anyone facing a sensitive or high-conflict family law case to thoroughly investigate whether this attorney will truly advocate for your rights—or simply align with the system already in place.
