Thorough, competent man

Over the last 15 yrs I have engaged Atty Yokoms services. I found him to be versed in the potential outcomes as well as the method of procedure I should use in my litigations. He is straight foreward and open when discussing the case. I was encouraged to ask questions until I felt comfortable with... the law suit. I highly recommend the services of this lawyer. Theresa B

Workers compensation case

Well upon the initial consultation he came across as knowledgeable which impressed me, telling me all of what I was entitled to. But I learned rather quickly that communication was not one of his strong points. My case ended up taking 9 months to settle and because I took a settlement instead of goi...ng to court my attorney took 30% instead of the initial 20 we agreed on. My attorney ended up getting more money on the settlement then I did. Definitely needs to work on communication.

no fear

U called him very concerned about my back and how I was being denied medical care by my employers comp carrier. Her took time to talk with meand explained my right's & reviewed my case. A year n half later we settled with what we asked for. Mr. Yokom is a truly honest man with lots of compassion. I ...must also acknowledge his legal assistant Nancy, she shares the same compassion and you can tell what his office stands for.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
