Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I have not met with clients for bankruptcy cases in almost a decade and I currently do not handle bankruptcy cases. You listed that you hired me, but no where in your review do you state that you paid me for any legal services. Also, I have never gott...en upset when a client has chosen not to file bankruptcy. There is no need to be upset since everyone has the right to make that decision. And I have never told a client that "I have done the research and I know what I'm talking about." Lawyers do not do "research" generally. We perform legal research, which is typically associated with a specific legal issue and writing a brief. When I meet with a potential client, then I learn about their case in that initial meeting. I would have not known any legal issues to research before the initial meeting. So, I am not sure what you are referring to. If I met with a client and the client was not interested in filing bankruptcy, then I accepted this and moved onto the next client. I have never had any experience with a client or potential client like this. So I am perplexed by this review. But everyone is entitled to their opinion even if this encounter never happened and is false.

I worked with this lawyer some time ago, and she recommended that I file for bankruptcy. This was unrelated to what I sought her services for, but for whatever reason, she seemed anxious for me to commit to the bankruptcy process right away. When I told her I wanted to first do some research before m...aking such a decision, she actually became upset with me! She started yelling at me that SHE had already done the research and knows what she is talking about, so I didn’t need to do any research. This is obviously absurd. Anyone who is making ANY decision which will affect their own life should do their OWN research to determine if it is the correct decision for them. I would never just rely on the judgement of someone else — especially someone I don’t even know and who may or may not have my best interests at heart. She apparently didn’t see it this way and seemed offended by me simply wanting to do my own research. This completely caught me off guard. She was also just not a very personable or friendly person in general. As a result, I would absolutely NOT recommend supporting this person’s services.
