PLEASE DO NOT HIRE HIM. There is a lot I could say but there is not enough space to explain everything. All I can say is if I would have read the reviews I would have never hired him. The ones that say he does not communicate are very true. Even the Judge said something to him at the about not being ...present in the court room. He did not do the job he was hired for. Matter a fact he didnt do anything until I contacted Mr. Moore and explained to him how Mr Richardson was responding or should I say not responding to anything. Put it this way all the money that was paid to this lawyer was a joke considering there was only ONE meeting with him in person. and that was only after contacting Mr Moore. Put it this way I have contacted the Bar Association in regards to this matter and how unprofessional Mr. Richardson is. I am waiting for a call back from them. SO PLEASE DO NOT HIRE THIS LAWYER JUST RUN DO NOT STOP

I hired Kurt for my divorce case with a retaining fee of 2,500.. he was paid the same day as my consultation and hired as my attorney... I never heard a word from him at all after he took my payment! Tons of texts to him and his secretary with never a response from either one of them. He never took m...y case to court as after 3 months of no word from him and completely in the dark about my case I texted him to say he was fired! Never got anywhere other than 2,500 wasted for nothing! I’m glad he was able to pay his bills with my money and I pretty much flushed it down the toilet! I would never recommend him to anyone but I will be sure to let people know how he handles cases! Maybe he should just stick to criminal defense because divorce cases are not his strong suit obviously. Thanks for nothing Kurt.

My name isn't important but my story is. I have Crohns Disease...it was diagnosed last year after my 2nd of 6 surgeries. At 37 years old, I was preparing to start a family when I got sick. My entire life turned upside down. Unable to get solid food down without excruting pain, a complete lack of app...etite and unrelenting nausea from pain medication- a friend of mine brought over Marijuana edibles and for the first time since I'd been diagnosed I was able to get myself comfortable enough to eat. I'd lost 30lbs already at that point... I immediately set up an appointment to see a Medical Marijuana doc. While I was waiting for my appt...there was an "incident." An ambulance was called and so, naturally, the police came as well. They confiscated the rest of the cookies (I was so shaken that I led them right to the evidence!). We got through it. FOUR months later, I received a call that there was a warrant out for my arrest. SERIOUSLY? I'd learned earlier that month that I would not be able to have kids thanks to my disease and the meds I require- so the only thing that was going through my head was that this ridiculous possession charge (my Medical card was approved) would keep me from adopting a child. Not only did Kurt Richardson defend me and get my charges dismissed...he also referred me to an adoption lawyer who would help me when I was ready. Hiring Kurt was the best money I've ever spent. When I needed to talk, he listened. When I txt him, he always responded. I'd absolutely recommend him.
