I hired Kurt for my divorce case with a retaining fee of 2,500.. he was paid the same day as my consultation and hired as my attorney... I never heard a word from him at all after he took my payment! Tons of texts to him and his secretary with never a response from either one of them. He never took m...y case to court as after 3 months of no word from him and completely in the dark about my case I texted him to say he was fired! Never got anywhere other than 2,500 wasted for nothing! I’m glad he was able to pay his bills with my money and I pretty much flushed it down the toilet! I would never recommend him to anyone but I will be sure to let people know how he handles cases! Maybe he should just stick to criminal defense because divorce cases are not his strong suit obviously. Thanks for nothing Kurt.

I'm not a fan of most attorneys. Most attorneys only care about billable hours and will put their income ahead of a vested interest in your case. That is not at all the impression that I got from Attorney Richardson. I think he actually cares about the outcome of his clients cases. THAT'S what ...makes a great attorney.

My significant other found herself in a drug charge after having no criminal history, and so began my very foreign feeling search of criminal attorneys. Having never been through the process or in a similar situation, this wasn't easy. Kurt was very responsive, didn't put pressure on me to have him... hired, but offered some experiences he had been through and offered some very immediate assistance to get the process underway. I was mostly sure at first that he'd do a good job, but obviously couldn't be certain as I had never hired an attorney before. From the start, Kurt was a great resource and an honest and realistic person, but still offered his reassurance when he felt it to be appropriate. He didn't overpromise anything, so when he did say some hopeful things, you could mostly trust them. He was generally pretty responsive. He does have a life outside of work, so don't expect 24/7 responses, however he did a good job of responding during business hours, which is what I expected. We suffered one major setback in the court process, basically setting an almost-complete case back to square one. All of us were upset and it was not Kurt's fault, but he did everything possible to get a good turnout following that. He is very well prepared and knows his stuff. After about 6 times in all back to the county courthouse, Kurt was able to work a very favorable deal, one that would've never even come close to being possible without an attorney such as him. I highly recommend Kurt, he's a good man and will ease your tensions and fight for you to get the best result possible.
