Hammond does not know much about DWI laws or the probation department. If you are battling a DWI you should do your homework and find someone more suitable for your case. He was terrible at communication and is unable to converse with his clients both over the phone and in person. Every time I calle...d to ask a question he never returned my calls even before my hearings. Hammond impersonal and unprofessional. After listening to other attorneys defend clients with multiple drunk driving charges, Hammond was still unable to grasp the concept of a defendant. That may be because he showed up to the sentencing almost twenty minutes late. With know phone call that he was going to be late, he showed up with know idea what was going on. It would behoove you to defend yourself over using Hammond. I had paid him and I had to defend myself, after waiting on him and turning frantic I still believe I could have done a better job at defending myself. He did get my charges dropped lower but couldn't stand by his word for other promises he made. Hammond is a bad choice as a defending lawyer.
