Tara Lyn Sharp

So I met with Tara about a custody case and was told it would be 2500 for the entire case. She was not willing to take payments which I completely understand so I gave her a check for the full amount. Now after we had been to a couple of court dates she all of a sudden came up with I owe her another ...1000 or she won't be able to continue with the case. So I was upset but paid her anyway just to get things finished. So my final court date hearing comes and she doesn't show up and sends her partner Ms storm. Now Ms. Storm I would endorse because she did an excellent job but one of the things we agreed upon in the beginning was that we were going to have my son's last name changed. During the court proceedings the judge did agree and at the final hearing ms.storm had the defendant sign the paperwork to be filed. Ok so now I call to find out if the paper work was filed 3 months after our final court date and Tara wants to tell me that I allof a sudden owe her more money and that the name change is not part of the case. So now she's making up another fake bill after I paid the original 2500 and another 1000 on top of that. This is just crazy how unprofessional she is. Beware. She won't show up and shell charge more than she tells you knowing you can't do much in the middle of a case.

I hired Tara back in 2016. It was an already a battle just to see my child through my ex.. when I met Tara she seemed great but by the time my first court date arrived, Tara did not show up to court. There was another attorney who did not know my case.. it got adjourned.. on multiple occasions nothin...g was resolved. Her partner Alisha storm was briefed but yet again on numerous occasions nothing was ever resolved.. so I never got anything that was promised on numerous occasions than child support was brought up.. I have to pay child support for my child that I never see.. my ex does not follow the court order.. so out of all of this nothing was resolved.. through numerous counceling sessions still nothing. I fought and fought for my child and non of the evidence i had was never used.. I would not recommend Tara as an attorney.

Tara did not show up to the first show cause hearing back in 2016. She had another lawyer cover her. Nothing was accomplished throughout my custody case.. Tara passed me off to her associate which she really wasn’t that much help either. She agreed with the other parties recommendations.. I got know ...where after being promised i would.. Tara rescheduled her appointments with me 3 times before I met with her. I plan on calling the state bar association to make a complaint..

I used Tara on three occasions. First time she was late to the mediation and negotiated with the other party and in a separate room. The second time was not willing to negotiate on my behalf. The third was to file a motion that was paid for up front and had to call repeatedly the next two months to r...eceive it. When it was finally completed was not even the correct request. Now over a year later will not respond to email or phone calls.
