JAMES E. VANDERROEST, ATTORNEY, was born in Kalamazoo, Mich., and graduated from Plainwell High School. He attended Michigan State University and received a Business Administration Degree with high honors. He attended law school at Brigham Young University on scholarship and graduated in 1981; that same year he began practicing law. In 1989, he joined this law firm, founded by G. Philip Dietrich 10 years before, which has always specialized in Business and Estate Planning law. Attorney VanderRoest serves businesses large and small, and individuals of modest to wealthy means. Jim believes the law should be a helping profession, practiced with the goal of managing, not increasing, the client's involvement in the legal system. He looks forward to meeting and working with you!

Estate advice
Did a very nice job on my mothers estate. We had some complications with banks and family managing the estate. The estate also had a lot to pieces. Jim was good and we got the solution we wanted. Charged reasonable rates, met with us in person, over the phone and by email.
