Dustyn Kyle Coontz

Hey, I'm Dustyn. I enjoy helping people get through some of the toughest times in their lives, and I believe, to paraphrase Bryan Stevenson, that each of us is more than the worst thing we've done. If you're wrongly accused, I want to make the justice system work for you: I want you to be vindicated and have your name cleared of wrongdoing. If you've made a mistake, that's okay; let's work through it and not have it define the rest of your life. If you have a mental-health or substance-abuse issue, let's address that and worry about the legal stuff later. I do this for a living because every person deserves a champion in their corner; if you feel like the whole world is against you, get me on your side. It'll be Us vs. Everybody.

Beyond what I do for a living, I'm a Christian (but not the judgy sort), husband to Stephanie, dad to Lily (and the dogs, Leo and Archie), a fan of all things Detroit sports (truly, this is the Lions' year), a fanboy of the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings franchises, a binger of quality television, a reader of good books (but not enough of them), and an occasional writer.
