I am primarily a commercial and real estate litigator - that is, I work on civil lawsuits of all sorts. These mostly relate to business disputes and real estate matters as distinguished from injury suits, divorce and the like). I have been invilved in several multi-million dollar lawsuits.

I have land owner clients, developer clients, commercial and residential landlord clients, real estate brokerages and related entities in my client group. I also own rental properties (and a company that owns rental units). thus, I am well versed in transactions, disputes and litigation regarding all facets of real estate ownership.

Business startup and structuring advice, particularly for real estate entities, landlords, commercial building owners and the like. Includes property tax appeal work. I also have small business clients that I advise on a host of issues that come up from time to time.

I draft, revise and litigate contracts of all sorts, from real estate to commercial to entertainment and most everything in between. All the other practice areas in my profile also deal with contracts and agreements of various sorts.

As a musician, I still stay connected to the industry, and have a modest stable of entertainers that I work with from time to time. Secretly, there's no such thing as "entertainment" law - it is contract and intellectual property law. An "entertainment" lawyer is a high priced (over priced?) contract lawyer.

i do copyright and trademark registration, litigation and dispute resolution. The trademark work relates to overall "branding" assistance - more from the legal side than the creative side. However, my background in the arts certainly contributes to my work in trademarking and branding.
